Jake Borden is a Founding Partner and Principal of Six Acre Capital. At Six Acre, Jake spearheads entitlement, design, construction, project management, and asset management efforts.
Prior to co-founding Six Acre, Jake served as Vice President for Churchill Real Estate Holdings where he sourced, evaluated, executed, and managed new investment opportunities across a wide range of product types and capital structures. Jake also served as project manager for three ground-up development projects in Manhattan. During his time with Churchill, Jake executed over $300mm in debt & equity transactions, including multiple multifamily investments within Manhattan and Brooklyn. Jake started his career at JPMorgan Asset Management’s Global Real Assets platform, where he focused on asset management and capital markets for multifamily, mixed-use, and office investments throughout the U.S. In this role, Jake assisted in directing the strategy of a portfolio comprised of +/-20k residential units in addition to +/-3mm SF across several Manhattan office buildings representing a total gross market value of +$3bn. Jake also collaborated with senior management to successfully execute over $3.2bn in debt transactions. Jake earned a BS from Syracuse University.
Mark Lansman is a Founding Partner and Principal of Six Acre Capital. At Six Acre, Mark focuses on deal sourcing, structuring, capital raising, and investor relations.
Mark began his career at Enterprise Asset Management, a NYC-based family office, where he focused on the asset management of an extensive, nationwide real estate portfolio. Thereafter, he joined advisory shop Rosin & Associates where he directed his efforts within execution, underwriting, and due diligence work on behalf of CMBS and balance sheet lenders. Mark then joined private equity firm Churchill Real Estate Holdings from company inception as a Vice President, where he wore several hats. He assisted in the launch of a credit platform providing acquisition, bridge, and construction financing, led the acquisition of multifamily and mixed-use assets, and oversaw the development of residential condominium projects. During his time with Churchill, Mark assisted in executing over $650mm in NYC-based debt & equity investments.
Mark earned his MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a BBA from the George Washington University, majoring in finance. While at Stern, he was President of the real estate club and founding member of the club’s ‘Young Alumni Board’, of which he is still an active member.
